Sundae appoints new CFO

Sundae is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea Tanner as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As CFO, Andrea is responsible for strategically driving Sundae’s financial operations and leading the organization  through its next chapter of growth.

Andrea began with Sundae in August, 2022 as Senior Director of Finance and quickly stepped into the position of interim CFO.

Commenting on the appointment, Josh Stech, Co-Founder and CEO of Sundae said, “Within just a few months of working with Andrea it became clear to me how special she was for Sundae. She fits right in with our values and culture. She has a unique ability to stay curious, learn about the business and build sincere connections with people that allow for meaningful change to happen. She’s leading us through a lot of exciting times and has proven herself to be the leader we really need right now for the team.”

Prior to Sundae, Andrea served in various leadership roles at Vacasa, first helping to lead their M&A program conducting valuations and diligence on acquisition targets. She transformed the company’s revenue forecasting process and was part of the leadership team that took the company public in 2021. Andrea has also pursued entrepreneurial opportunities where she founded, grew and sold her own small business in 2016. Prior to that, she worked for over a decade as an employee and a consultant for Microsoft in various capacities helping to develop unique pricing and licensing strategies.

Andrea graduated from Utah State University Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Finance.
